Eddie was named the 'Big East" Top Rookie. While at Seton Hall, he led the Big East with 19 double-doubles. Eddie was fourth in the league in scoring (18.1 points) and led in rebounding (11.2). Eddie led the nation in blocked shots at 4.5 per game. He was the top rebounder.
